Webster Aims to Rekindle Memories of Magic Run

Mark Webster will draw on the memories of 2011 when he returns to the Speedy Services UK Open stage at Bolton this week.
 
The former BDO world champion from Denbigh reached the semi-finals of the ‘FA Cup of Darts’ two years ago, coming within a whisker of making it to the final only to lose a final leg decider to James Wade in the last four.
 
Now Webster, who is sponsored by Leyland Paints, is eyeing a similar run as he prepares to launch a busy sequence of televised tournaments. Read the rest of this entry »

Webster Going Soft!

Mark Webster is heading to Hong Kong to compete in leading soft-tip tournament SUPER DARTS 2013.

The Welsh ace is part of a 16-man global line-up, featuring some of the best soft and steel-tip players in the world.

The former Lakeside winner is set to face Japan’s World Championship star Haruki Muramatsu in the opening round on April 7.

Mark Webster – Professional Darts Player

Mark Webster continues to be a major contender for PDC honours, having previously won the BDO World Championship in 2008.

World Cup of Darts: Webster Leads Wales’ Charge

Mark Webster led Wales into the semi-finals of the World Cup of Darts in Hamburg as he and Richie Burnett claimed a hard fought victory against Spain.

Webster produced finishes of 102, 94 and 76 in a 4-3 defeat of Antonio Alcinas but Burnett suffered a loss by the same score-line against Carlos Rodriguez. Read the rest of this entry »

World Cup of Darts: Wales Turn on the Style to reach Quarters

Wales produced a brilliant performance to book their place in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Hamburg with a 5-2 triumph over Canada.

Mark Webster and Richie Burnett did not miss a single attempt at a double and averaged over 98 in the win, with Webster taking out a brilliant 120 finish along the way. Read the rest of this entry »
