The Welshman began his tournament on Saturday with a 5-3 victory against Keegan Brown but was defeated by James Wade 24 hours later.

On Monday, he fell two legs behind Dutchman Michel van der Horst before eventually winning 5-3.

Webster will take on World Champion Gary Anderson in the second round.
